Simply Golf - PDF Version

‘Simply Golf’ was designed while watching the recent Solheim Cup (won by U.S.A., well done our American friends (at last!).) It is not a game engine for stroke play tournaments, unless you have several years of free time and nothing else better to do. Really it is a system for replaying match play or foursome or four ball matches such as the Ryder Cup, the Solheim Cup, the President’s Cup and various other individual and pairs tournaments. We include in this package the Ratings for the top 100 male and the top 100 female players with the details of how to rate your own top players for seasons to come. We also include the ‘cards’ for a few of the world’s leading courses, you can add others easily enough by researching on line.

It is often said that the most important club in your bag is the putter and certainly much of the drama of these types of tournament occurs on the putting green and so it will with ‘Simply Golf’. But a great putt will give you a slight edge on the next green and likewise a missed ‘easy’ putt will have the reverse effect.

We also provide in this simulation the opportunity to use non-elite players, the humble club golfer like yourself no doubt, with differences between the Scratch players and those playing off 6, 12, 18 and 24, plus the Joe Bloggs of this world, those who never quite achieved a handicap status like myself. On a really good day I might have been a 24 man, mostly I was definitely a Joe Bloggs.
