County Championship
Basic System Two red and one green dice are rolled. The scores of the red dice are added together and the total referred to the Partnership Card currently in use to determine how many runs are scored. Record the cumulative total mentally or use pen and paper as you wish.
The green die score is referred to the Batting Mode Card in use (this depends on the Batting Mode selected) and the Elapsed Time recorded on the Pavilion clock by moving the Marker forward the appropriate number of minutes. When this Marker is advanced up to or beyond the 2 hours position the session is over. The runs scored are always recorded before moving the Elapsed Time marker and such runs are always scored in full however far beyond the 2 hours position the Time Marker is subsequently moved.
When an Appeal result is obtained on the Partnership Card, re-roll the two red dice and refer the total to the Appeal Chart. If the result is ˜Not Out" advance the Time Marker one minute (ignore the green die) and re-roll all three die again. If the result of the ˜Appeal" is ˜Out" advance the Time Marker two minutes, record the fall of wicket on the Scorecard and select the next Partnership Card.
