YOU WILL NEED THE MOTOR SPORT GAME IN ORDER TO USE THIS MODULE.

Endurance Sports Car Racing’ is the latest module for ‘Motor Sport’ and as such you will need that simulation to use the new module. These Rules assume that you have ‘Motor Sport’ and are familiar with the game system.
That being so you should be able to seamlessly switch to ESCR, but there are important differences which will be explained.
The ESCR World Championship is run over 7 races varying in length from 6 hours to 24 hours. There are three separate categories, so in effect three separate races, with Championship Points being awarded  within those different categories to both drivers (including co-drivers) and manufacturers to the top ten finishers. For 6 hour races the points awarded are as follows:-
25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1.
For 8 hour races the points are:-
38-27-23-18-15-12-9-6-3-2.
For 24 hour races it’s:-
50-36-30-24-20-16-12-8-4-2, with 1 pt. awarded to all finishers below 10 in the general classification.
In all races an additional 1 pt for pole position, that applies to all drivers of the pole position team, and towards the manufacturers’ championship.
Because of the length of the races at least two drivers, and often three, are used, in ‘stints’ of 45-60 minutes. Often drivers will double up on stints, staying in the car while refuelling and tyre changes take place and continuing until the next pit stop.
The three categories of car (‘classes’) are Hyper, LMP2  and LMGT,  more about those classes can be found on-line
https://www.avis.co.uk/world-endurance-championships/fia-wec-2024-race-guide if you are interested. The Hypers achieve the fastest times, followed at a distance by LMP2s and then LMGTs..

These Rules will concentrate on the differences between the
original ‘Motor Sport’ Rules and those which apply to this Module.
