'THE BEAUTIFUL MATCH' This is basically a two-player football (soccer) card game that also uses dice.The way you play your cards and 'improve' your hand go a long way to deciding the outcome, but the dice rolls add uncertainity and suspense so there is an element of luck also, making this a 'fun' game for the odd half- hour or so in a quiet corner of the pub or on a train or plane journey, but also fine for the family table when the meal has been cleared away.
Whilst in the basic game both teams start with an equal chance we also provide a way of using the Ratings from 'The Beautiful Game' so that you can take on the persona of your favourite team from any season rated for 'BG'. And we have added a solo version also which can also be used with the BG Ratings if required.
Choose your tactical format before the match starts, and use three possible substitutes during the match depending on how the match is panning out, including a sort of kamikaze all-out-attack mode or a desperate 'all-guys-back-defending' formation. Great fun and pretty addictive !
