This is a Lambourne Games original extension set given the 'Owzat' make over. This set now includes 'Split Fielder Ratings' and as Neil Treeby says ' I have updated some of the cards to reflect a slight adjustment for the future. So instead of creating a card up to the 89/90 season, I have given a tweak to better personalise the player career stats.'.

This is the third of the Tours Extension Sets for ‘International Cricket’. If it proves as popular as ‘Tour to India’ and is played as much as ‘ Welcome to the West Indies’ we will be well satisfied.

As before the Extension Set provides all the ‘local’ players, an eighteen match Tour Itinerary,  Campaign Rules and a Special Events Chart for 3, 4 and 5 day matches. You will, of course, need to own the game ‘International Cricket’ to make use of this Extension Set, and ownership of the ‘World Wide Weather Charts’ will add that bit of extra flavour but is not absolutely essential.

The composition of the tourists is entirely your problem. If you select your squad from current players of a single country we promise you that the tour will not be easy, Six Test Matches, a 3 match One Day series, and matches against the six States. all of which are capable of upsetting any side that is put in the field against them. Plus a difficult opening match against the Prime Minister’s Select XI, and a fixture with Young Australia in Hobart where the best young players in the country will be out to stake a claim for future Test honours.

We have provided Player Lists that include both Batting and Bowling averages for all the State players. These are their First Class averages as at 31/12/90 in almost all cases, and although we have given suggested line-ups you must over-ride our ‘selection’ if you so wish. The averages are supplied to assist you with this task, and in deciding on replacements for injured players if you use the Campaign Injury Rules, which we strongly advise.

The Australian One Day and Test teams we must leave to you. Many will be automatic choices, but we suggest that you use early season performances against your tourists as a guide to filling in the gaps.

Select your touring party with care - we recommend a 16 player squad - bearing in mind the type of pitches and conditions you will encounter ‘Down Under’
