This is a Lambourne Games original extension set given the 'Owzat' make over. This set now includes 'Split Fielder Ratings' and as Neil Treeby says"So in short I have gone through every player and re-rated them individually. The cards have weighting for the 1984/85 season, however the card is also based on their career record with a strong leaning towards pre 1984/85".

This Extension Kit for 'International Cricket' enables you to send your team, of whatever nationality, on a full 16-match tour of the second most populous country in the world, India.

'Tour to India' includes 74 new Player Cards for the five Zonal teams. Some of the players have already been carded in the original game or Additional Player Sets, but the new Cards provided with the Extension kit should be used for all tour matches, and for no other purpose except, perhaps, for Indian domestic matches. The Cards have been designed to reflect the players' form during 1985/6 in the context of the Indian home season, but 'scaled down' to anticipate a rather lower level of performance against an international touring team. But they cannot (should not) be used in the international arena other than that envisaged by the tour itinerary.

No  tour  would be  complete without  campaign rules  covering injuries, illnesses, etc. We have tried to keep these as simple as possible but accidents will happen, and tourists are particularly vulnerable to the local food and water, especially on tours to India and Pakistan. But the home team must also be subject to campaign fitness rules, although these will generally generate short-term injuries rather than 'indispositions.’

Use of the 'World-Wide Weather Charts' is highly recommended but not compulsory. We have provided details of a few new venues to be visited by the tourists, whoever they may be, and, of course, you will need the 'W-W W C's' to simulate the three- and four-day games.

Make your touring team of realistic proportions 15-17 players and limit it’s strength-the locals will provide good opposition for a typical strength touring squad, but they cannot be expected to beat an All Time Great touring side

And now it's time to select your party, contact the baggage master, oil those spare bats and reach for the travel-sickness and water pills. India beckons.
